On Monday, a federal judge ruled against DOGE and returned the administration of the US Institute of Peace to its acting president, George Moose, and banning DOGE agents from “further trespass against the real and personal property belonging to the Institute and its employees, contractors, agents, and other representatives.” Will the administration appeal? We’ll see.

Ever since Tor.com became Reactor they seem to have been focusing increasingly less on books and more on visual media (movies, videogames, graphic novels, etc.), especially in their News section. Following in the footsteps of first Wertzone and then Nerds of a Feather. So far Locus is a holdout from the trend. I guess when the average American reads at between a 7th and 8th grade level and over half read at below a 6th grade level, this trend is not so surprising.
