A new live-action Peter Pan is coming to the small screen this fall. Allison Williams of GIRLS (and news anchor Brian Williams’ daughter) will continue the tradition of women who have played the spritely boy. Check out some of the first photos of Williams as Pan.
A new animated film, Hullabaloo, is being funded by IndieGoGo. It’s described as Disney-meets-steampunk, and the concept art is beautiful. Check it out.

Elisabetta Trevisan has been one of my favorite artists ever since I stumbled across a pack of tarot cards that she designed. Something about the colors and shapes she uses evokes stained glass, while the figures are very classical. I chose these three paintings today because I’m writing something about the sea, and these are my background for inspiration.

I love this artist. Before I finished reading I was going to ask you if she did stained glass, because it evokes that for me too. Lovely stuff.
I only heard about the Future Library last Friday. I haven’t clicked through to the article yet, but the guy who was telling me about it said that the agreement is that the stories will be printed hardcopy, and that a grove of trees was planted to provide the paper. That may be fantasy, but I hope it’s true!
Oh, and there are the trees in the first paragraph!
I think the spec-fic action/mystery adventure, 100 years in the future, searching for the library, practically writes itself.
