Each of us has listed a few of our our favorite 2010 releases (hover over the cover to see who recommends each book). This year we’ve added an audio category — these are books that were released on audio for the first time in 2010. Read some of our comments about these books in this post.

I would like to add a book to the list.
Black Sand written by Lisa Finder and published by Goodfellow Publishing Services. Black Sand is a wonderful fantasy set in the South Pacific. Lisa Finder’s style of writing is ethereal and she weaves in romance, suspense and social issues with dream like quality.
There were a lot of really good books this year.
Nathanael and Franziska, your books are on the way. Still waiting to hear from Stephan. Thanks for playing!!
Wow, great stuff on your list. I just read Fire Watch recently, the award-winning short story that helped spark Blackout and All Clear. Loved it! I’ll definitely be reading both of those this year. Also want to get to more Ian McDonald. I first read him in 2010 and quickly became a fan.
I was excited to get the beautiful de Lint collection for Christmas this year and know that one will be special.
Thanks, Kat! I can’t wait!
I AM 48 YEARS OLD. I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME LEFT TO READ ALL OF THE BOOKS I WANT TO READ! I am sad.
Gosh, I feel for you, Mary. I’m only a couple of years behind and I feel that way, too.
