Dentist puts Clive Barker in a coma… Your favorite authors nerd it out in a Dungeons & Dragons match… Hollywood finds yet another SFF novel to make into something awful… All that and MORE in this week’s WWW!
In the coming weeks, if you find something interesting you think everyone should read, drop me a line via the contact form and let me know, or just post it below. Let’s get started:
1) A Few of Fantasy’s Best Gather to Play D&D: Aidan links us to a video of the now legendary D&D game.
2) Could Hollywood do Justice to Richard K. Morgan’s Altered Carbon?: I doubt it.
3) Clive Barker Awakens from Coma: This was a scary few days, even for Clive Barker. I’m glad he is doing OK.
4) Snow White and the Huntsman Novelization Cover Reveal: Urban Fantasy mashed up with something classic. Not exactly original, but it does seem interesting.
5) A Game of Thrones: The Graphic Novel: Not much to add to this, more GoT for you Martin fanatics.
6) The Fairy Book, 1923: Old school Fantasy.
That whole dentist drama with Clive is like something out of his Books of Blood . . . except with a happy ending. To say I’m relieved he’s doing better is a understatement, but I’m selfishly hoping his brush with death gets him back on track. It kills me to know that Black Is The Devil’s Rainbow has been done for over a year and a half now, but is without a publisher, and it’s been far too long with no movement/updates on The Scarlet Gospels.
This is amusing Sh*t reviewers Say

And I think I have a book that has the fairy artwork illustrations.
They should get Ridley Scott to do Altered Carbon
