That Shirley Jackson bio has actually been out for a few years, and picked up a ton of awards, including the Bram Stoker Award in the nonfiction category, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Edgar. Her collected letters just came out, though, and they look incredibly interesting. To my considerable surprise, it looks as if my library isn’t getting the letters, but I’ve got the biography on hold.
