I already read Winterkeep and loved it! I’m most excited for The Witness for the Dead and Fugitive Telemetry. Also looking forward to Wild Sign and The Last Graduate. So many good books!
P. Djeli Clark’s Cairo might be my favorite new fantasy world of the last few years! Of course, Murderbot is marvelous and I SERIOUSLY can’t wait for the next Scholomance book!
It’s very hard to choose between Naomi Novik and Martha Wells! Very excited for both books.
The blacktongue thief.
Any year with new books from Martha Wells, P Djeli Clark and Cat Valente is going to be a great year.
Oh, what a great list of books!
The Cat Valente one I’ve known about and been waiting for but I didn’t know there was a new Sarah Gailey coming out. Also I believe Rivers Solomon is meant to be coming out with something as well (though I don’t see it from a skim through the list so maybe it’s been delayed…)
What an amazing lineup! I’m 100% excited for Stephen Graham Jones new book, My Heart Is A Chainsaw.
There are eight from this list that I am dying to read (and more that I would like to read). I am especially excited about new books from Charlie Jane Anders, Sarah Hailey, Cat Valente, and P. Djeli Clark!
I’m looking forward to Peaces and Klara and the Sun.
Stephen Graham Jones’ My Heart Is A Chainsaw! I love the writing of SGJ because of his sharp prose, especially his ability to capture an authentic voice; makes the fantastic and horrible things he writes about seem possible.
Winterkeep 💜
My Heart Is a Chainsaw! Let’s go!
I would love to read the chosen and the beautiful!
I’m really excited for My Heart Is A Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones!
Winterkeep
Definitely excited for The Chosen and The Beautiful–and all the other weird interpretations and retellings of The Great Gatsby since it’s up for grabs this year. Klara and The Sun went on my list the second I saw it.
I’m most excited for A Desert Torn Asunder! I’ve been a big fan of Bradley Beaulieu ever since is wonderful Lays of Anuskaya series and the Song of the Shattered Sands has been even more captivating.
Glad a tweet sent me here! I’m excited for so many of these – Cashore (I didn’t know it was out but just bought it with your link), Wells, Novik, Carey (both kinds), Valente… but I think the Addison is the one I’d ask for if I got a freebie. :)
Thanks for the chance!
I cannot wait for “The Witness for the Dead,” by Katherine Addison. “The Goblin Emperor” is my favorite book, so I have high hopes for the sequel!!
So many, the one that most excites me on this list is the Sebastian de castell offering. I’ve yet to read anything by him that I’ve not thoroughly enjoyed and this next book looks to be just as good as the others. :)
I haven’t made it any of these series yet but Sebastien De Castello and Martha Wells would be my top picks.
A Desolation Called Peace. I was hoping J.V. Jones would finally have her next book come out after 10 years, but maybe next year. She says it will be done this year, but must be edited and then published. Maybe next year.
I’m excited for many of these but in particular The Last Graduate by Naomi Novik!
So many good choices, one that I am looking forward to that isn’t listed is A History of What Comes Next by Sylvain Neuvel.
I found three, Klara and the Sun, A Chorus Arises, and All the Mummering Bones. Okay. There are more like A Question of navigation, but I haven’t got all day. LOL.
Darn. I forgot, A Master of Djinn. That makes fiv, but I can’t see my other post to add this to the list.
