SFF Author: Frank Chadwick

Frank Chadwick is the New York Times number one best-selling author of the Desert Shield Fact Book as well as over two hundred books, articles, and columns on military history and military affairs, and over one hundred military and science fiction board and role-playing games. He currently writes science fiction nearly full time and is the author of several science fiction novels from Baen Books. His game Space: 1889 was the first steampunk roleplaying game and remains a cult favorite. He currently resides in Illinois and teaches continuing education courses in writing and military history.

Sasha Naradnyo is a mid-level gangster in “Crack City,” a city literally inside a large canyon on the surface of a planet called Peezgtaan that’s mostly inhabited by the Varoki, a sentient lizard-like species. The smaller population of humans, second-class citizens on Peezgtaan, have been ghettoized to Crack City, the only place on the planet where they can breathe the air. They came to Peezgtaan to work for a pharmaceutical company that later went bust, and now they’re stuck on the hostile planet.
