P.Djeli Clark took home Best Adult Novel for A Master of Djinn; Best Young Adult Novel went to Darcie Littlebadger for A Snake Falls to Earth; Best Novella was awarded to Shingai Ngeri Kagunda for This is How to Stay Alive. Amazon turned off the review feature for Rings of Power after a flood of one-star reviews. Some appear to be real reviews—many seem to be complaining that the show cast ethnically diverse actors for the roles. Amazon Prime states they have a new policy of moderation for all their shows. I guess we’ll see.

Speaking of one-star reviews, Keanu Reeves will be back playing Constantine, reprising his 2005 role in that great L.A.-fantasy-noir-but-not-really-Constantine film with Peter Stormare as the Devil. there is no indication that Peter Stormare will be in this one.

Autumnal equinox happens this week, and I went looking for some nice Mabon rituals. It was hard to find some that didn’t involve bonfires… really not indicated where I live right now, even after some rain. This is a nice article and talks about decorating your house for fall. That sounds good.

And then I discovered a list of autumn cocktails! Now there’s a seasonal ritual!
